UBAYDAH BAA'ITH

CEO and Founder

Ubaydah Baa’ith, is the CEO and Founder of Sankofa Training and Development LLC.  As a Peer Recovery Specialist, Forensic Peer support Specialist, Certified First Aid and CPR Instructor, and Motivational Speaker, he offers years of experience with facilitating peer support groups, trauma informed care, leadership building workshops, and implementation of cognitive and Holistic Re-Entry transitional support. 
Mr. Baai’th is a community engager who works diligently within his community to provide resources and training to the second chance and homeless communities. With previous experience working with the Virginia Department of Probation and Parole, he implemented the Peer Recovery Model, volunteered with the Restoration of Rights Department of the Commonwealth of Virginia, and works as the Project/Program Manager for Project Give Back To Community assisting in providing emergency housing and resources for those transitioning into society.
Ubaydah is an avid believer in Second Chances being that he is a direct product. Sentenced to 20 years in prison, inside he embodied the infamous statement of the late Dr. Maya Angelou, “I can be changed by what happens to me. But I refuse to be reduced by it.” Ubaydah began embarking upon his journey of redemption, taking advantage of spiritual and educational services, facilitating cognitive programs, and eventually leading and transforming a Re-Entry program. Upon his release, he continues to strive upon greatness holding true to the reality that if you transform your thoughts, your world will transform.

ERIKA HOLLIDAY LCSW

CAO

Erika Holliday, CAO of Sankofa Training and Development, LLC is a licensed clinical social worker with 18 years of experience working in facilities and the community with at-risk individuals in various populations. Erika has experience in program development and growth; individual, family, and group therapy; case management; and program/clinical supervision. Erika has a great wealth of knowledge regarding community resources in the City of Richmond, wrap around service intervention, and best social work practices. Erika has a multitude of experience developing, working, supervising, and overseeing daily operations of programs governed by Virginia Department of Behavior Health and Department of Medical Assistance Services to include Therapeutic Day Treatment, Intensive In-Home Services, Mental Health Skill-Building Services, Residential and Community Crisis Stabilization Services, Peer Support Services, and Outpatient Services.
